RÖNTGENDÖRR SKJ Pb

Sliding X-ray-proof door SKJ Pb has been designed to be used in X-ray laboratories: allows easy access and reqired protection against X-rays, where larger door openings are needed. With sliding X-ray-proof door SKJ Pb you can construct gate openings and passageways when there is not enough space for swing doors. The main places when SKJ Pb door has been installed are hospitals, medical clinics and veterinary clinics. Inside door leaf and frame lead layer is installed but door is still relatively light, which decrease risk of injuries and staff damages.

Assembly is easy and quick both in buildings under construction and in existing buildings. All fittings are mounted on the frame construction. Great advantages are the pre-mounted fittings and the fact that the frame and the door lining enclose the wall. That means that the wall around the door opening does not need to be reinforced.

The door leaf is manufactured of fibre glass reinforced polyester with a high quality insulation of polyurethane. The thickness is 40 mm. X-ray barrier is made from lead layer on thickness up to 2 mm. If you need more thick lead layer, please contact our customer service. We made doors with X-ray barrier on thickness 20 mm. Thanks to its material and design the SKJ Pb door is a hard-wearing and hygienic door, extremaly easy to keep clean.

The doors are delivered fully assembled and with aluminum or stainless steel frame. The ingenious frame system forms a door lining on one or both sides of the wall, depending on wall thickness, used materials, and option to choose colour (RAL palette) make this door type suitable for installing in various environments.

Installation is easy – the door fits quickly into its place both at construction sites and already existing walls.

Even if the assembly of sliding door SKJ Pb involves easy opening and closing, it may be convenient to equip it with an automatic opening and closing function. Sliding X-ray-proof door SKJ Pb is available in two designs – manual and automatic.

As a supplement of X-ray-proof sliding door SKJ Pb we offer windows, delivered with glazing unit equivalent to lead layer on thickness up to 2 mm. The window has glazing beds which prevents dirt from building up. The window construction is supported by an aluminum frame forming a lining; therefore installation is easy and quick.
